Celuna works on your device, and by default your information stays there — you can use the whole app with no account, and nothing leaves your phone. Sharing the care is optional: if you create an account and invite your family into a shared “Circle,” the information you choose to share is synced and stored securely so everyone helping sees the same thing. We never sell, rent, or share your data with anyone outside your own circle, and we never show ads.
If you never sign in, everything you enter is stored only in Celuna’s private storage on your device and is never transmitted. You only leave this mode by deliberately signing in and choosing to share.
To share a Circle, you sign in with Sign in with Apple. Apple gives Celuna an anonymous account identifier and, only if you allow it, your name. There is no password for us to see, and you can hide your email from us. We keep only that identifier and the display name you allow.
When you create or join a Circle, this is synced to the other members so everyone sees the same, current information:
This is stored on our servers (hosted by Supabase, in the United States) and is protected so that only members of your own circle can read it.
What is never shared: your private journal and your wellbeing / self-care entries are never synced to the circle or made visible to anyone else. They stay yours alone.
Caregiver+ is an optional subscription. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store — we never see your card or payment details. RevenueCat helps us know whether a subscription is active, tied to your account identifier. That is all it is used for.
We use no analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Without an account, nothing. With an account and a shared Circle, we store your account identifier and the information you choose to share, as described above — and nothing more. Celuna has no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising identifiers, ever.
Some information you record may relate to health. It stays on your device unless you sign in and share a Circle (where it is visible only to your circle) or you choose to export or share it yourself. Anything you share by email, message, printing, or AirDrop leaves Celuna’s control and is governed by that service’s own policy.
Each is optional and can be revoked in iOS Settings.
Celuna is not directed at children under 13.
You can delete individual entries at any time. If you have an account, you can permanently delete it and everything synced to our servers from within Celuna (the account menu → Delete account), or by emailing us. Deleting the app removes all data stored on your device. Information you added to a shared Circle may remain visible to the other members who still have it, the way a sent message stays in the recipient’s copy.
If you have an account, you can access, correct, export, or delete your information — most of it directly in the app, and the rest by emailing us. If you use Celuna without an account, everything is on your device and under your control.
Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Any genuinely new sharing of your information will remain something you choose, not something switched on quietly.
